All the municipalities of the province are endowed with a mosque or a place of prayer called M'ssallah. Only the appropriate mosques receive the worshippers for the Friday prayer.

The big mosques in the major areas of the municipalities organize the prayers for the religions feasts such AID EL FITR feast (marking the end of the holy month of fasting of RAMADHAN) and the AID EL ADHA feast (feast of the sheep's sacrifice) where all the worshippers of the small localities come to take part. There are several mosques in M'sila and in Bou SAADA.
